Will You Please Say a Prayer for My Son

Postby AHeartofJoye » 28 Mar 2011, 09:37

Will you please say a prayer for my son Jamie, he is taking our County EMT Test today.
He needs to pass it or be terminated from employment.
Thank you all very much for your prayers.

My son just called, he did not pass the 'Medical' Part of the EMT Test.
He had a stroke patient...and missed it by one too many
:stea
He will be allowed to test again tomorrow, but he MUST pass this time.
If he fails again, it's over. He'll be more than crushed, and I don't know what he'd do for employment other than enlist in the military.
Please, will you pray for him to pass this tomorrow.
Jamie truly needs all the prayer power he can get, please pray for him to pass this time.
If he does then he will take the State Test on 01 April., and need to pass that.

I praise the Lord that my son has been given the opportunity to be a part of this Fire Recruit Class.

Dear Lord, I pray that you will bring my son Jamie through this, that he
will pass all tests, and graduate in July. In the Holy name of Jesus I ask this, Amen.

Joye, He will make it! My prayers have not stopped. I can't believe that they would turn him down or fail him by one point. I believe they are just testing him. JMOI

Thank you Frank, thank you too Cindy.

Jamie had a (make believe) stroke patient, who could not speak -Jamie tried to get information (samples they called it) from the patient or bystanders and couldn't.
Which failed him. Jamie did not know he had failed until the end of the day.
Jamie will be allowed to retake the Medical part tomorrow. He has to pass this time.

Frank, I haven't stop praying either, and I asked Jamie if he wanted to pray, he said in the morning. He's pretty down and upset with himself that he didn't pass.
This EMT course is a year crammed into 6 weeks - one other recruit failed by three to many... that recruit must also retake the test tomorrow.
This is the County EMT Test. It's a part of the weeding out process...little by little they are being cut. We were told at Orientation that less than half will make it to graduation in July.
I just pray this doesn't end it for Jamie. We are both pretty taken back by this, not expected at all. This 'stroke victim' was not even discussed in the class, so it threw Jamie for a loop.
Jamie did his best but failed. I will be praying again tonight as I did off and on all day yesterday, last night and most of today.

I have been praying off and on during the night, and again this morning.
I pray that the Lord will bring my son Jamie through this, that he will pass today's County EMT Test and to God be the Glory!
In the name of Jesus, Lord and Savior I pray - Amen.

Thank you brother Wayne!

Tonight I'm rejoicing and praising and giving glory to God!

The Lord has answered prayers for my son Jamie to pass the County EMT Test today!

:ptl2

Thank you Lord God Almighty, Glory to God!

Now Jamie must pass the State EMT Test this Friday, 01 April.

**Please pray the he passes this State EMT Test on Friday.

Also today while running 3 and a half miles he had sharp shooting pain in his previously injured knee.
He said that the pain was so severe that he felt sick to his stomach. He told me that he never thought in his wildest dreams that he would have this happen to him
(injury to his knee). Please pray for his knee to be fully and completely healed, that there will not be any permanent damage, or need for surgery.

Thank you all for your prayers.
