Where does Revival begin?

Postby JWayne » 19 Jul 2010, 08:21

God is desiring to sweep across our land in revival. More than just revival though, the last outpouring of the end time move of God. The time is short, and the bride is not yet ready. We must be made into the bride without spot, wrinkle or blemish (Eph 5:27). That is the purpose of this last outpouring...preparing the bride.

The revival that God is bringing is different than any other in church history. This will be a mightier work, with greater signs and wonders than ever before. It will span the globe, where other revivals have been limited to a country, or even just a region of a country. The people who God uses will be different also. Past revivals have been preached by evangelists. This revival will be preached by prophets and apostles. Why? Because God needs to work through those ministry gifts in order to accomplish the work He is preparing to do.

We must decide if we are going to become part of this last outpouring. Or, are we just going to sit by and watch? Are we willing to pay the price to allow God to do whatever it is that He sovereignly desires?

Lord send a Revival and let it begin in me! "God will require us to change our schedules, change our plans, change our worship, change our administration of the church...in fact it will require us to change just about everything that we are doing."

Nobody argues when in the Presence of God. In His presence, The Lamb of God shows His Love, and we cannot help but love Him back. We crown Him with our love, as His Holy Bride, and He is taking us to greater heights in His presence. Our Pastor has said, "If the Presence of the Lord cannot be found here, I'll be the first to leave." In other words, the main focus is annointed worship, where His presence is invited, and it is proven; "He inhabits the praises of His people", and, "Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you." No flesh glories in His presence, and His love prevails, changing the faces from uncertainty to "Love, Power, and a Sound Mind." Wayne, you're right. Jesus is bringing His Bride into the revelation of living in His Kingdom where we are ambassadors to Heaven. The lost have a very hard time disproving great signs and wonders when Heaven shows up on the Earth. Praise be to Jesus !

Real revival begins with seeing ourselves and our life through Gods eyes. Many times we think were all right spiritually but we are far away from God. We pray powerless prayers to a God who we hardly know. We go through the otions of being a super Christian but do we really know God? Are we truly part of the family of God? Are we obedient children or are we like thge prodigal away in a far land doing our own thing? Would we know or recoginize the voice of God if the Spirit is trying to get our attention? Revival isn't for the lost it's for the body of Christ, it's for the sick and ailing members of the body. Revival can't be brought about by promotions, special music, "anointed singers or speakers or any other man made scheme. It doesn't take 25 verses of just as I am or a preacher mentioning every possible sin to get you to raise your hand so he can badger or browbeat you into comming forward. Revival comes when we see our need for a closer walk with God, whgen we acknowledge our faults and coldness in our relationship to God, when we repent and turn back to God. God said draw nigh unto me and I will draw nigh to you. Thats a conditional verse we have to make the move to God just as the prodigal son repented and returned to the father so likewise when we return to the Heavenly Father he will recieve uis, restore us and renew us in our relationship. So revival only comes when we as prodigals turn our way back home to the father. Just my 2 cents worth.

Amen, Don. I'll add a few more pennies... I love it when it is revealed how much God loves us, and who we are in Christ.
