I started in Genesis 1:1
The beginning....
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Notice heaven is plural...
First heaven: atmosphere heaven for birds and clouds:
!In that day (Mill) I will make a covenant for them
With the beasts of the field.
With the birds of the air,
And with the creeping things of the ground.
Bow and sword of battle I will shatter the earth
to make them lie down safely. Hosea 2:18
I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man
Coming with the clouds of heaven!He came to the Ancient of Days
Second heaven: Stars
Then He brought him outside and said, 'Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them. And He said to him, So shall your descendants be. Gen. 15:5
Then God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth; and it was so.
Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.
God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,
And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
So the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Gen. 1:14-19 (Sun, Moon, and stars)
Third Heaven: A place called glory~
I know a man (Paul) in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows-such a one was caught up to the [b]third heaven.2 Cor 12:2[/b]
Heaven place of beauty: Rev. 21:1-22:7
Heaven place of service: And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.Rev. 22:3
For worship~
After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Allelula! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God. Rev. 19:1
Glory
While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary,but te things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Cor. 4:18
The Heavenly City-New Jerusalem consist of Bride, the Lamb's wife, Church and Redeemed OT Saints.
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, 'Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife.'
And he carried me away in the Spirt to a great and high mountain,and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious tone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
Rev. 21:9 and on and on...
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of believing
God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels.
To the general assembly and Church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect.
