As we know the Theory of Big Bang that so called created the Universe is not in line with God’s original plan for design.

However I have heard of this other theory about Earth that may hold some substance that would include the Bible. You see when I was in High school; there was a GED book we were working on in the class. I read a part in the book that scientists believe that at one time all the continents we live on used to be one big land mass.

This giant land mass when formed as one was called the continent of Pangaea. They say that over the years Pangaea broke apart and drifted into different directions that for our today continents that of Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, South America, Australia and Antarctica.

Do you believe that at one time that this Pangaea Theory could be true and if so why? Or do you believe it can’t be true and if so why? . This might take some online research but we are learning at the same time. This theory has nothing to do whether God created mankind. It is simply a theory questioning did all our continents originate from one big giant land mass named Pangaea thousands of years ago. This would be in the days of Genesis. Can anyone try to answer?

We as Christians must always take the creation account in Genesis as our guide concerning how God made the universe, the earth, etc. If we believe the bible to be the inerrant infallible word of God then we will believe the creation account as accurate and truthful.

First lets look in Genesis 1:9 and 10 for the answer
It says: Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

So, from these scriptures we see that their was land and their was sea. Although the Earth has and will always be a solid mass. Their was a separation at creation between the land and the water.

So, No! To your question.
