Scientists re-create face of Jesus from Shroud of Turin

From the description in the Bible (I'd have to look it up), Jesus was homley and dark. Dark skinned like a Jew and dark eyes. . .not sky blue. Now, he has white hair and red eyes. They aren't going to be able to tell what Jesus looked like from that shroud since it's NOT Jesus, hahaha!! I like what that one woman said, "It doesn't matter what He looked like, what matters is what He did".

Personally, I never visualized Jesus as being light skinned, blonde and blue-eyed.

Growing up Episcopalian, I was so used to that famous pic of Jesus where it's just his head and shoulders and he's light haired, light skinned and has those blue eyes. He was completely Angelicanized by the Roman church and it stuck. Only coming to know Him as savior do you see the real Jesus.

My late beloved grandfather was a Deacon in the Brethren Church, all the photos I grew up seeing were the typical - Aryan, blond, blue-eyed.
In my adult years, I joined the Southern Baptist church, Jesus photos were just head and shoulders photos, but a dark blond or brown hair and eyes version.
The hair was always shown shoulder length and straight but with a wave to it.
My eldest son is adamant about this subject - the Bible is the Word of God and is 100% TRUTH. The bible does not say Jesus is blond, blue-eyed. Nor does he have straight hair, or slightly wavy hair.
He strongly believes Jesus to be darker skinned complexion, black, coarse, curly hair, with dark brown eyes.
One thing for certain that we can all agree upon is that once you come to Him, and know Him as your Savior and Lord; you then see the real Jesus Christ, Lord of Lord, King of Kings!
