Surgery

Postby JWayne » 10 Jul 2009, 20:16

My surgery is set for the 22nd. Just got it set today (finally). I had to get a little rough with the heart docs office. I have no idea what their problem was.

I will have to go to Nashville on Monday the 20th, for a physical and blood work, and then be back on Wed. morning at 6:00. That means we'll have to leave here between 3:30 and 4:00.

I will be in the hospital for at least 2 days, barring any complications.

Yes, most definitely! When we were talking this afternoon, I told the nurse that this will be my birthday present, and she said we could postpone it another week. No way! I told her this would be the best present ever. Thanks for the continued prayers. I love this place and everyone here. This is the most loving and caring group I have ever had the privelage being a part of.

God bless you all,

Wayne

Matthew, my youngest is taking me tomorrow to Nashville for all of the pre-op stuff required before surgery. Please say a prayer for us, so that our travels will be safe.

Then it's back to Nashville very early Wednesday morning for the big day, surgery. I know that all will be fine, how else could it be with all of my dear friends and brothers and sisters in Christ praying for me?

I love you all so much and truly appreciate your concerns and prayers!

God be with you all!

I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 in the morning and surgery will more than likely be around 9:00. We have just a little over a two hour drive so it will be a VERY early morning for me.

Our daughter just called wanting mama to carry her to the ER. She has been having bad pain in the flank area. I think that maybe she might have a bladder or kidney infection. Guess I'll be driving by myself as Patricia can not stay awake anytime she gets in a car.
