Halloween is getting bigger and bigger as Christmas and Thanksgiving get smaller and smaller. Sign of the times for sure!

My neighbor decorates our main road in and out of here with Halloween stuff, I don't do Halloween, I don't honor the devil. Yesterday she smiled at me and said "Are you Ready?"
I wanted to say "Yes, I'm ready for the Lord's return" but changed the subject. I dislike it, and she'll leave it up until after Thanksgiving, but she does not decorate for Christmas ):
I don't decorate for Halloween, I don't do Scary, and I'm blessed that we live so far in the woods that no "Trick or Treaters" come around. I know the history of 'Halloween', the Celtics and all.
Brother Frank, perhaps you will add a link here in discussion on Halloween...?

This is another reason I like living in the sticks. . . we NEVER get trick or treaters. I don't have to deal with it. My sister and neice take the kids into nearby towns for that discusting ritual. I don't have to look at the stupid decorations all day like poor Joye does. That would really bother me because those decorations are getting worse and worse. And there's no telling them because they know and don't care. They say, "Oh it's just stupid fun. We liked it when we were kids!" True enough, but how can you explain to a person who's blind, just how demonic it is. . .they just don't listen. Get's frustrating!
