Re: Should Christians Stop Going to Church

I have a Methodist church down my streeet. It has been the church that my family attends. It is the church my grandfather and his family all attended when he was a child. I got some really unbiblical things told to me by the preacher there and I was not happy there. It was all elderly people and no life. It is almost stagnete in there. There is no future there. The preacher says one scripture verese and then a feel good message, then two offerings and then they dismiss. Sometimes they get out early because the preacher watches football or he has to work at his job. I got a really bad taste in my mouth from the catholic religion. I dont know where I would go. I dont know what I am looking for I guess. I wouldnt know if I was hearing the true word or mans interpretation of it. As far as my online groups I am here and one other group and I feel that I was lead to both of them. :)
