Remember Our Veterans

Postby Remnant » 11 Nov 2009, 07:10

TODAY'S IS VETERANS' DAY, ORIGINALLY ARMISTICE DAY, WHICH WAS ORIGINATED AFTER THE ARMISTICE FOLLOWING WORLD WAR I WAS SIGNED ON THE 11TH HOUR OF THE 11TH DAY OF THE 11TH MONTH IN 1918. IT WAS CHANGED IN 1954 TO HONOR ALL VETERANS & RENAMED - VETERANS' DAY. IT IS A HOLIDAY ALSO CELEBRATED IN THE UK AS REMEMBERANCE DAY. TRADITIONALLY, IN THE U.S. SOME VETS HAVE SOLD PAPER POPPIES ON THIS DAY IN HONOR OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN KILLED IN WARS. THIS SYMBOL IS BASED ON THE POEM, IN FLANDERS FIELD, WRITTEN TO MEMORIALIZE THE DEAD IN WW I.

LET'S KEEP ALL OF OUR VETS & THOSE MILITARY SERVICE PERSONNEL CURRENTLY SERVING, ESPECIALLY, IN THE WAR AREAS IN OUR PRAYERS.

Lord, help us to remember those who gave their lives in military service for our freedom.

Please help us not to take it for granted.

Lord, I ask You give our military men and women a special blessing...

Keep them safe, and provide for their needs.

Thank you, Lord, for allowing the US to be use as a protector for Your chosen people, Israel.

Lord, forgive us as we have turn away from Israel.

Lord, please remove those who are against Your chosen people, and bring us back as a nation who supports them.

Lord, please remove those who are against our military men,and Lord, please allow true justice on this killings that took place in Fort Hood.

Lord, it's sooo sad,and needless to say, should never happened.

Lord, make some changes on our 'political correctness' within our country.

Lord, allow so many good things to come out of this senseless act of Satan...

Lord, end the battle of Isaac and Ismael.

Lord, it's in your hand only.

In Jesus' name,
Amen
