Prayers for Januarie's Son and Mine

Postby Jeani » 13 Aug 2009, 08:53

Please continue to pray for Januarie's son as he sees a doctor today, and please keep my son, Jaret, in your prayers because we have lost all contact with him.

Please pray that I will accept God's will over my son over my own dreams, hopes, and wants~

We 'thank' you for the prayers~

Love in Christ,
Jeani

Thank you so much Jeanie. Thank you so much.
May God continue to comfort you and protect Jaret.

Ladies, You are in my prayers and sometimes the hardest part is letting go. I too am really struggling with some decisions my son has made and I will share them later but it has torn our family apart and grieves us greatly!

I'm sorry to hear that Frank. I will pray for you and your family.

Today Richie's neurologist concurred with the spine specialist's diagnosis of cerebral palsy. They were both so nonchalant about it, they acted as if we already knew or understood. It's frustrating because we are mind readers of medical professionals so we never even knew to ask about CP because Richie is a grown man and people are born with it (he was too, it just wasn't very bad for many years, apparently). Anyway, the good news is that the neurologist also said that Richie could not be "faking" his condition, which the staff that works with him had started to wonder. You would only have to see him to see how shrunken and twisted he has become but sometimes I don't think that the people who work with him can see the forest for the trees.

On the plus side, I was talking to my son on the phone last night and I could hear staff encouraging him in the Lord. There are some blessed Christians who work with him and they truly love my son and the others they work with.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Lynda and I were just talking about how unique CF and it's members are and it is totally amazing to me how our lives (in so many ways) are so intertwined, with such simular situations. I too would like to add to this prayer circle my daughter who is so adamant in living in the world doing who knows what. She's not ill right now but I am so scared of what might happen.

O Lord, thank you for You are a God who can remove mountains and part the seas.

Sometimes the mountains in our lives is our children.

Thank you sooo much that Januarie now knows what is wrong with ther son through a second opinion.

Please Lord convict the Christian ladies that has to deal with Richie to be very good to him.

Please touch Richie with healings, and soothe his pains.

Lord, please be with Frank's son.

Lord, please heal the family, and join them together again.

Put your healing hand on Joan, help her to feel Your presence.

Lord, please be with Wayne has he still has pain.

Put your healing hand upon him.

Lord, I ask a special prayer for his daughter.

Please help her to realize that she needs to be close to her family, and how important family is.

Keep her safe wherever she is...

Please Lord bless Jannie's family, too.

Thank you, Lord, that she decided to join our family.

Lord please keep my son safe, and surround him with Your angels.

Lead him to a Christian place that will help him.

Keep his mind sound.

Please be with my other two sons.

Lord you know one son has personal problems, and the other son is looking for another job.

I pray You will draw them close to you,and they will turn back to You.

Please bring more sisters and brothers our way so we can have fellowship together.

Forgive us were we fail thee.

In Jesus' name,
Amen

Amen! I, too, join in that prayer circle. I can so identify with the worries we have for our children, as my son's marriage is unstable. I tend to stress about the situation if I haven't talked with him and know that everything is alright for the time being. I need to be able to put my son into the Lord's hands and then rest in His peace.
