Joan has had an allergic reaction to the Chemo Doxil and we have been at the doctors offices all day. She was given shots to counteract the reaction and they said that there should be a significant change by in the morning. There will probably be some sort of change in the routine and preventative treatment, but we will know more in the 48 hrs. Please pray a prayer for us and especially for Joan. She is not feeling well and broke out in hives.

Father, I come to You tonight with a heavy heart for Joan.
Lord, You already know how much she is suffering,but Lord, I ask You to heal her.
Give her comfort as only You can...
Give her rest as only You can...
Ease her discomfort,and her pain...
Help the chemo to cured her cancer....
Give her strength to endure the chemo...

Praying here also, Frank. I include Joan and you in my prayers everyday. The Lord will give you both strength to get through this, He is with you, that's His promise.

It has been a long week. Monday, was blood test, Tuesday was Chemo treatment for 6hrs. Wed. Chemo treatment for two hrs and council with Dr. Lawhead. Thursday was back to the doctor for shots to bring up her white blood cell count.
Joan's blood test showed an elevation of her CA 125 or cancer score. The hopes is that it would go down or maintain a level instead of going up. Dr. Lawhead wants to make sure that the cancer cells that might be lingering to be destroyed. He wants Joan to take the maximum treatment of 9 treatments instead of 6. So we are now looking at 4 more treatments. She just finished her fifth.
Please keep Joan and I lifted up as we continue on this unsuspected Journey in high hopes of complete healing.
