Father, I come to you asking for you to draw Joye's father close to you. That this time of hospitalization will show him how great your mercy and grace is. I ask for healing, if it be your will. Bring peace to Joye and comfort. In Jesus name, Amen!

My father is in ICU, on life support.
Though my father did not raise me, he is still my father and I love him.
He is the greatest man I have never known...
I pray that he had things right with the Lord, and that he be kept comfortable...

From I have been told - my father had pneumonia, which hospitalized him.
Upon returning home from having been hospitalized with pneumonia, he had a blood clot in his leg, which resulted in the placement of two stints.
This procedure caused his blood pressure to drop dramatically, so a emergency pacemaker was placed.
During that procedure, his lung was clipped - resulting in a pneumothroax. Which ultimately resulted in his being placed on life support.
My father's prostrate cancer has metastasized to his lungs - this coupled with his COPD, ad emphysema ... isn't good, and he will most likely remain on life support, until God calls him home.
I called the hospital this morning, and spoke with his night nurse. I was told that my father remains in ICU, on life support, sedated and stable.

Precious Lord, please be with our sister, Joye, in this time of grief. In agreement with Frank, I ask that you place a blanket of peace and comfort over her. Please give her a special sense of Your nearness to her during this time. Please give her travel mercies and return her to us safely. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
