Praises To His Holy Name!

Postby Remnant » 26 Sep 2011, 16:02

Today was a bittersweet and glorious day. Joan had a Pet scan to see if any evidence of cancer. After the test we went to Dr. Lawheads office for the reading and all is clear and no evidence of cancer. Praise the Lord! Glory to God! Three years of a tremendous battle and journey of faith. God is Good and faithful all the time.

Her port situation is now in check and fine. She will have a new port put in on next Tuesday and then Wednesday take the Avastin as scheduled every other week for preventive measures and to keep any cells from growing. We feel such freedom and victory and gratefulness at this time.

Joan is a walking miracle! She is such an inspiration to so many. I am so thankful that God has given me her and look forward to growing old together. Now she has some catching up to do. LOL!

Thanks for all your love, Support and prayers over these last few years. I will be updating less frequently. Always feel free to call. Looking forward to seeing you in the future. We are also looking forward to seeing what God has for us in this new phase of life and ministry.

Oh whew! When you said "bittersweet", I was waiting to read the bitter part but it's ALL sweet!! Praise God!!!!! I am so happy for you two. It has been such a long battle but I'm sure that the Lord used that battle to touch many of the lives that were involved in Joan's healing. I can't stop smiling. . .awesome!!

The bitter part was all the trauma and testings. You are right that in the end it is all sweet!
