To make a long story short, the service was bizarre. . .gold dust and the whole works. I tolerated this garbage (I wasn't as mature as I am now) for awhile until people began writhing in the isles and entryway. I stepped around them and high tailed it outta there!!! Just a side note. . .I have supported Paul Wilbur's ministry for years as he went to this same church while I was there and he was still small time. Well, I have stopped supporting his ministry because he is going to have Rick Joyner traveling with him. I hate to admit this, but I watch American Idol. . . .a nice break from Fox News that my parents watch 24/7. . .anyway, Paul's daughter-in-law, Sharon Wilbur tried out for American Idol and I just don't know what I think about that! Christians are just becoming too conformed to the world. Sad, sad, sad!!
Carmela, I am glad to see how much you have grown and how God has done such a maturing in the Lord, in your life.
I got involved in a ministry one time for about a year that I knew deep down inside was off the wall but thought I could help make a difference. This ministry is now one of the top five ministries in the United States and looks good on the outside but rotten to the core. I am glad God got me away from them and back on the right path.
By the way, Joan and I watch American Idol. It is so worldly in some ways but it is interesting to see how God always puts a Christian or a believer in the top five or ten and see how they handle it. It is clean compared to most TV programs today.
