CLOUD, MN - In Minnesota, dozens of United Methodist ministers have signed a statement supporting same-sex "marriage."
At their annual conference, about 40 members of Minnesota's United Methodist clergy signed a statement saying they would marry any couple who came to them, including two women or two men.
The statement is not part of this week's conference, which WJON reports is being attended by about 900 voting members.
Bishop Sally Dyck says the statement itself doesn't break church rules. But she says United Methodist Church discipline forbids same-sex marriage, and clergy who perform such ceremonies could lose their conference membership, or clergy credentials.
