I agree.
Yes, thankfully, the Lord is in control.
Yes, He will decide if Israel is ever attack, and when.
It's His timetable, and not ours.
However when a person studies prophecy, and believes the Lord will discipline us for sin, we can know that America is headed for a fall.
Did He not destroy Sodom and Gomarrah, but because of His grace, He saved a few.
Another 'picture' of the Rapture.
Don't lose heart, because throughout scripture, God always saved a small remnant, but many times He did allow them to go into captivity.
Did some of them suffer, yes, according to scripture.
The US is totally depended on oil, and I personally believe the world is being set up for 'oil' to be the hook in Ezekiel in the Magog War.
I see America falling mainly from corruption, turning away from God, and greed!
During World War II, Americans were poor, but they pulled together.
Why, because they still had God in their nation.
Today we're a society, who constantly wants to kick God out, so man's heart has become seared.
Just 'news' about oil makes our gas prices go up.
What happens when oil is withheld from certain nations being Iran, S Arabia, and Iraq being the 'second' largest oil nation?
America will not be like World War II coming together because of their seared hearts.
It will be instant 'perilous times' as mention in 2 Tim 3.
Not to mention what the rest of the world will do.
I, for one, am a spoil American.
I like to eat; stay cool and warm.
God has bless this nation greatly because of His mercy.
We're slowly turning away from Israel so I can see God is slowly removing His blessings from us.
When I see a hurricane coming to Texas, I prepare.
Sometimes the hurricane will turn in a different direction, but I still prepare.
I see Biblically the 'oil problem' as a hurricane coming to America.
We should be preparing even if it doesn't happen in the near future because we're on God's time table.
By preparing I mean knowing that you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior.
Putting Him first in your life.
Studying His word daily, and praying.
Being a part of 'Christ First Forum' to reach those for Christ, and teaching them how to have a closer walk with the Lord.
Witness to others for Him, sign petitions that are against His teachings, vote for someone who is closes to Him.
Prepare our own finances, and homes as if a hurricane is coming.
Watch the News because the hurricane is coming, but we don't know when or totally how.
However 'oil', beside sin, is one our greatest problem today.
I love Jeremiah.
He was consider the 'weeping prophet.'
Jeremiah was a devoted patriot, wholly committed to God, and to His holiness.
Persecuted by his own people for his bold proclamation of the unwelcome truth about the impending captivity, he never lost his compassion for them.
By study we know Jerusalem was taken by Nebuchadnezzar, and a small remnant was saved.
Jeremiah still sought to turn the remnant back to the Lord.
He also predicted Israel's return to the land in the end time.
Even though Jeremiah is OT, we can still apply it to our lives today.
