This week has been a very trying week and full of challenges.

Growth always comes with growing pains and we are always growing either spiritually or in knowledge of truth.

This board has been set up by the guidence and leading of the Holy Spirit and in guidelines of scripture. I have put many prayers and hours of work in making this board a special place for us who are in Christ.
The posting guidelines have not changed and there is a purpose in reason for them. As a pastor and preacher of the gospel for almost three decades, I have learned and sought wisdom from the Lord on these matters. Please familiarize yourself with these rules and guidelines. We should not let the minor disagreements separate us, but when it goes against the Doctrine and essentials truths of scripture then there will be a division and separation.

I am always open to scriptural evidence that supports someones stance and a friendy debate and discussion.

I ask that you honor the request of this forum by posting accordingly.

The following guidelines apply to Christ First Forum' registered members.
We want to ensure we have a pleasant time together and so we need to establish some fundamental rules.
This board is like entering a private home whereby you honor your hosts by respecting their home.

1. No Inappropriate language, cursing, cussing, foul, rude, crude words, or materials, including websites or videos. No slang such as OMG, etc...

2. No graphic pictures, news articles, or links to violence, nudity, or semi-nude photos or videos. No posting sexual stories, gruesome crimes, or any other sick mutilation related stories, this type of news is not the objective of this board, we recognize we are living in the last 'Days of Noah'. Matthew 24:37-38 Keep it clean.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think on these things.

3. God shall not be mocked, His character shall not be attacked, or using God's name in vain.

4. Defend God's infallible Word not the ways of the world, liberalism, false translations, false theologies, Mysticism, or deceptive cults. Do not play 'devil's advocate' for the sake of argument.

5. Do not promote anything non-Christian or unscriptural. Do not sign up to attack the Christian faith in disguise of wanting to learn, or questioning the Christian faith as an agnostic, atheist, religious philosopher, or cult member for the entertainment of arguments and debates.

6. Do not promote false teachings , false prophets, heretical movements, paganism, ritualism, extra biblical teachings from television ministers, 7th Day (Sabbath) keeping, liturgy of works and practices for obtaining and maintaining salvation, ecumenism, false scriptures such as the Pseudepigrapha , Apocrypha, Bible codes, Ufology, Inccubi, Succubi, Angelic procreation and cloning, demon seeds, or any other extra biblical preoccupations with demonic and extrasensory beliefs.

7. No Dream threads or threads supporting, Angel or Ghost sightings, Bible Codes, astrology, star gazing, the Hebrew zodiac, Jesus comets, personal messages from God, personal letters from Jesus, cloud formations, Holy Laughter, psychic abilities, trips to hell and back, or any other subjective experiences that suggest these observations are common Christian experiences.
We encourage you to study and read from God's Word and keep a credible appearance before the watching world. (II Timothy 2:15) Dream threads spiral down into subjective vain reasonings and will be closed or removed.

8. Do not promote immoral or ungodly materials or links. This board is a family-friendly Christian Fellowship board. We strive to provide a place for Christians to fellowship and discuss without offence.

9. No Spamming the board with multiple posts every other minute or Multi Level Marketing promoting to our members through threads or personal messages.

10. Treat others with dignity & respect (as you like being treated). No name calling, teasing, wisecracks, talking down to, or belittling members. No sowing discord in a joking or argumentative behavior in the spirit of dissension or the guise of 'just kidding', or off hand comments of how you have been treated by others. Rationally discuss the argument and do not attack our members or mods. Luke 6:31

11. No End Times Date Settings, Date Alerts, or designating specific Peace Treaties as the main event nor quoting from others on date setting future events such as the fall of Damascus, Gog/Magog, the Rapture, the Second Coming, the Millennium, Peace Covenants, etc.... or speculations on who will be the Antichrist or False Prophet. This includes linking to sites and books that also speculate. Do not set Date Alerts that even hint of date setting.

12. No Liberal Left Wing Political Agendas, Tax Dodging, Anti-American Conspiracies, Anti-War Propaganda. The Political forum is for discussing issues from a Christian viewpoint, not for plugging a favorite candidate.

13. You may Discuss, but do not promote Mid or Post Tribulation, Prewrath, Preterism, or Replacement theology. This board is traditional Pre-Tribulation Rapture, and Pre-Millennial Dispensational in our position of End Times Prophecy. We also believe in a literal 7 year Tribulation period, after the instantaneous Rapture of all regenerated believers in unison, during which God finishes His discipline of Israel and finalizes His judgments on the unbelieving world. Our Lord Jesus Christ told us that we won't know the day or hour of His return and to always be ready keeping watch.

14. We believe that the Holy Bible (old and new testaments, 66 books) is the only true Word of God in its entirety and fullness, is perfect without error and not open to private interpretations. We invite you to be a Berean and carefully examine the scriptures. Disagreement with a certain translation is not a personal attack. We do not consider paraphrased translations as God's infallible word.

15. No hijacking threads with personal agendas.
We will disagree with some and agree with others but it goes too far when it becomes a personal issue that causes derailing of a thread. This is a place of fellowship and forgiveness, not one of private agendas, divisions, alliances, or cliques.
Use your best judgment about this, and if you have any questions you can PM the Administrator.

16. Obey Copyright Laws. When posting song lyrics and articles from news sites, and always provide the link.
Do not post articles from sites that are viewable through membership only.

17. Do not PM others with your private agendas. No PMing alliances, ganging up on other members. Report any PM's of a divisive nature or agendas to the Administrator.

18. Do Not Judge In An Unrighteous Manner : All members are encouraged to examine and judge doctrine held by other members in light of Biblical truth, (John 7:24; Matthew 7:1-2; John 5:25-29, 1 Corinthians 2:10-16, I Corinthians 4:5)

19. No posting in foreign languages. This is an English speaking board so please communicate in our modern tongue. Greek and Hebrew words are an exception for clarifying scripture. Any other foreign words must be associated with their definition.

20. No Cultic material - Teachings that do not agree with Scripture are not to be promoted here. This includes, but is not limited to, Mormonism, Jehovah Witness, Scientology, FreeMasons, New Age, Shepherd's Chapel, Sacred Name Movements, works based faiths such as Roman Catholicism, and Seventh Day Adventist teachings. Those who adhere to these beliefs are welcome to discuss Christianity in the Apologetics forum. (Galatians 1:6-8) Atheist members can only post in Apologetics.

These are about the simplest rules I have come across on any forum,
so I fail to see why anyone would have issue with them, especially
since they fit the offered scripture perfectly.

There must be a reason for this reminder. Very sorry to see. I hope these things get straightened out.

One time I belonged to a secular forum that was for gamers. They did the same thing, i.e. PM'ing private agendas, etc. I had no idea anything like this went on here. Can't even imagine it here.

Lynda, In my 26 years of experience in dealing with people I am just being cautionary and no one should take offence. In the two + years this forum has been in operation, I have never felt led to do this until now. Even in this environment one cannot be too cautious.
