The Darkest Blue

Postby Rainbow » 08 Mar 2010, 16:36

I wrote this poem which is like a story right after my Mom passed away last Nov.

The Darkest Blue

I'm slipping into real darkness
and don't know what to do
this feeling is killing me
i'm tired of feeling blue

I try reaching for God's hand
But I can't make it quite there
so i wonder now
who does really care?

I'm in the toughest struggle
to keep my closest friend
But in my heart this misery
Really just won't end

I try looking into the future
to find a bright sunny day
And my Lord Jesus
will quickly makes its way

For right now I stumble
and have fallen down
but I will still seek
the Lord's thorned crown

I just have to lay my head
and pray
And listen for the Lord
saying Anna it's will be OK

I will never leave your side
this you know is true
One day you will wake
no longer feeling your darkest blue

A beautiful poem....when we're at our lowest, He is there.
When we feel our bluest, we find shelter in His arms.
I honestly don't know how people can make it through without our Lord. :hgta

God bless, Rainbow....

Christ is my anchor, and I feel sorry for those who don't have this anchor..

As we move forward in the 'Last Days', we will be depending on the Lord even more....
