My father has been a member of the John Birch Society for decades. Back in the late 50s or very early 60s, he had a meeting at our house and had me watch a film that they were showing (NOT a wise decision, btw). It was a film of the aftermath of a Muslim attack on an African village where they came in with machetes and slaughtered women and children and old people. It was horrible and I will never forget those images. I don't remember if the attack was on Christians or what but it sure did make an impression that I'll never forget.
