Being Optimistic

Postby Rainbow » 06 Mar 2010, 13:49

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them
To look at the sunny side of verything and make your optimism
come true
To think of only the best to work only for the best and to expect only the best
To be just as enthusiatic about the success of others as you are about your own
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticise others
To be too large for worry too noble for anger too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble

Where I am truly 'optimistic' is my faith in the Lord, and knowing of a 'pre trib' rapture.

I always think the 'best' of a person until proven otherwise...

It's very hard to be 'optimistic' today with our corrupt government, and seeing our country drown with sin...

However I stay 'optimistic' knowing prophecy has to be fulfilled, and that Christ went to heaven to prepare a beautiful place for us...

And he carried me (John) away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. Image

Having the glory of God. Her (the Church) light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.

Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass,

The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of percious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,

The fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.

The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. Rev. 21~Image
