Impatience/Being Patient

Postby Rainbow » 24 Feb 2010, 21:18

Right now I believe truly in my heart that satan is very flustered and is very disappointed that he lost yet again to a battle against God.

What am I talking about are you thinking?

Recently I have been in a very much personal situation that I had no idea what I was going to do.
In my past I was always trying to do things my way instead of God's way..or asking for him to be the back up plan...

WRONG ... Mistake.

You need to be patient and let God do the work and follow him.
This year it was hard at first for me to this because it was like natural instinct doing it my way.

This situation was making me almost I'm very ashamed to say suicidal again. Why did I just admit that?

Because I wanted to show you just how much Satan can try to do to you if you won't let God lead.

Now because I finally let God lead in this situation with all praise and glory going to our Lord :wor

Satan is disappointed because I was patiently led to the answer I was seeking.

Members and readers alike I beg and plead go to God first and be patient. Satan will use every dirty trick imaginable until he feels he has you on his knees.
He almost succeeded with me. I repeat the word strongly
ALMOST. Don't let it happen. It doesn't need to and God will be there with his plan that is better by far for you if you are just patient for it. :hifi :niip

A very, very strong message here. IF we all would just put Christ first in our lives. Instead, so many of us want to "do it our way", which always leads us astray. There is a central theme that runs throughout the Bible - obedience to God brings His blessings; disobedience, His wrath (to non-believers), & chastisement to believers who disobey. His way is always the right way.

Thank you Anna for this wonderful encouragement.

This is how we always need to share on CFF.

I have a similar situation at work and sooo want to do it my way...

But i desire God receive the glory due Him and wait patiently for Him.

I know it is a trial, and I even kind of laugh when I slip because it is so obvious to me He is working mightly at my place of work...if I would just stay out of the way LOL.

I think the greatest example to us is how Jesus was completely obedient unto His Father even to the point of death on the cross....

James said that we would 'enter fiery trials.'

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.

knowing that the testing of your faith produces PATIENCE.

but let patience have its perfect work, that you may be PERFECT and COMPLETE, LACKING NOTHING.

If any of you lacks WISDOM, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will given to him....(I ask this in my prayers to the Lord all the time)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now I BELIEVE these scriptures,but sometimes in my own human state, I FAIL to be JOYFUL during various trials...
God has been teaching me through the 'mental illness' that runs throughout our family....
Life on earth as a Christian can be very hard sometimes because Satan wants to take the 'abundant life' from us...
During these times is when we REALLY, REALLY NEED TO DEPEND ON GOD....
Well this is all true gang. I was here also when all this took place. I am a witness of all this. I was here in the house with Anna. And we saw her Mom at the hospital. This was too hurting for me I could not take this. When her mother rang the Bell her brother Dom would not move. He is able and fine. He waited for Anna to help her. Her son Dom would not help her that much at all. Anna did and also asked me for help too and I did. Anna did most of this. One time her mom fell. I and she slid her on a sheet by the chair. I told her stand back. Her mom was heavy at this time even at her height I did a squat and got her on the chair not easy but did it. Many times I was asleep Anna had to shift her mom. Anna hurt her back. Her brother was not much of help. He told all his friends he was helping his mother. Not true. Anna was doing this. And I just a bit when I was able to. When Anna was not home I would check up on her. . Ask if she needed anything or to talk. Maybe just talk she wanted a bit. She liked my joking. Sometimes she just wanted to rest. It was very sad to go through all this and sad to see her brother stand back also in this. He helped but very little he did. If not for Anna and The help of God her mother would have not even made it this long. Her brother is like a car without wheels. . The car will start but not move. He says he is Catholic. He is Gay a boyfriend Dave. Dave claims Catholic also. Ok you guys believe your way. You said we believe in a phony religion this Christianity. We will see about this. Anna had to have a lot of patience with her brother while taking care of her Mom. She did so much for the 3 of us that she didn’t take the time to care for herself
