Many have prayed for Joan and I over the last year about the cancer that she has had. She was in full remission and all indications that it was gone. Last week we went for her 3 month checkup and her CA 125 was highly elevated and way above normal. We were sent to get a pet scan yesterday and met with her oncolologist and surgeon Dr. Lawhead. The finding were not good. She now has two more tumors. One the size of a walnut and the other the size of a tennis ball. She is scheduled for surgery on the 11th of February at 8:00 am a Dekalb Medical. The surgery will be just extensive as the last and the doctor will go in to remove the tumors and the recovery and then another 6 months of Chemo treatments. We are in Shock at this moment but belive and trust in a mighty God.
