wow. . .if I wasn't already convinced of a pre-trib rapture, I would be now. I especially enjoyed the one with JR Church and Gary Sternman talking about 2 Thess 2:3-5. They presented that in these verses, the King James translators mistranslated the meaning. That it actually refers to the rapture (a departing from the earth of believers) and not a "falling away" or apostasy. It was VERY interesting. I am even more convinced that Jesus will be taking us home very, very soon!

I was reading 2 Thess 2:3 in my Amplified Bible and there is a note at the bottom of the page saying that "a possible rendering of the Greek word apostasia is "departure" (of the church)" I thought that was pretty exciting since I've never seen this particular Scripture in this light before.

So, if this rendering of the Greek is correct, then we are definately out of here before the anit-Christ is revealed. I just don't see how it can be much longer because this country, not to mention the world, is ripe for judgement!

Carmela, What is so sad is all of the false teaching that have come out in the last 40 years about the rapture. The evedence and scripture as a whole is very clear on the matter.

Most people who get side tract and teach other wise usually are following something they read or following a celebrity preachers or a new revelation in stead of reading and studying scripture on there on.

Pre wrath, Post tribulation, mid tribulation was not taught in the churches when I was growing up. Believe me, my grand mother and mother took me to all kind of churches. Holiness, Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist. And I don't recall anything other then the rapture and the tribulation afterwords.

You are so right, Frank. I have never come across anything other than a pre-trib rapture until I started looking around at these forum sites whose contributors are anything but born-again, spirit- filled believers. The church is a "mystery" and there is no reason for us to go through the Tribulation period. We are already reconciled to our Father. Israel, on the other hand, still needs reconcillation and that is what the Tribulation period is for. I look forward to that "blessed hope". . .the rapture of the Church and the reuniting with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! What a day that will be!

I have been doing more study into 2 Thess 2:2-5 and it is obvious that this is one of those Scriptures that has the Christian community at odds with each other once again. So, in that light I am going to leave it alone.

This is totally 'why' the Rapture is for the Church,and not Israel.

What you are speaking about can be studied in Ez 22, Malachi 3, Zech 13:9

It's thought of as 'the Melting Pot.'

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye (Israel) are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you (Israel) into the midst of Jerusalem.

As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into th emidst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you Israel in mine anger and in My fury and I will leave you there, and MELT YOU.

The Jews have never as yet had such an experience as this. Is is spoken in Jer. 30:4-7, and Dan. 12:1 as Jacob's Trouble.'

This time is the Great Tribulation that is only for the Jews...

It's because they didn't accept the Lord like the Church has.

I finally decided to leave PNW for all of the attacks upon Hrt4Christ and me believing in the Pre Trib Rapture.

These people are sooo 'close minded',and it's sooo easy to see the Bible clearly teaches in the Pre Rapture....

My work is done there,and hopefully, I planted one seed....

I invited Thunder to come to this site because she is one who understands the Pre Trib....

Keep watching those videos Carmela so you know without a 'shadow of doubt' that the Rapture will happen....

I totally agree with you, jeani. I am completely convinced of a pre-trib rapture of the church and have been ever since I can remember. If the original intent of "apostasia" in 2 Thess 2:3 was a departure of the church in rapture rather than a mistranslation into a departure from faith, then that would be even more Scriptual proof of a pre-trib rapture. I found that very interesting about a possible mistranslation of that Greek word. Good study.

Carmela, 2 Thessalonians 2:3 if taken in context can not mean that the church is being raptured. It means exactly what it says, a great falling away from the faith. Further more the time line of these scriptures for the most part is refering to a time after the rapture when the Antichrist will come into power. People try to make a mid trib or pre-wrath argument when all along they over look other scripture.

I told someone the other day that it was liken to a cardboard puzzle. No matter how hard one tries to use the puzzle pieces to make a puzzle, unless you have all the pieces then it is not complete. That is the way a lot of people on PNW who believe in pre - wrath, mid- trib, or post-trib handle scripture.
