I go in for surgery in the morning. I ask that you pray that their be no complications and that Joan will be cared for by my niece and brother during my recuperation. I feel all will go well.

Frank had a successful surgery today. The doctor removed his gallbladder, he also had some gallstones, and the hernia was repaired. We are home and he is resting comfortably. We are trusting the Lord that this surgery will eliminate all, or at least most of the pain he has been experiencing. Thank you to all who prayed for him. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

Just a quick update. I am doing fairly well except the Hernia repair did not hold and the tear seems to be larger.
I went back to the Doctor yesterday and am scheduled for another surgery on the 27th. He was not able to put a mesh because of the chances of infection from the gallbladder. It is very painful and getting worse because it is like wrapping a rubber band around the intestine when it pushes out through my abdominal wall. The chances of intestinal rupture is getting higher. So, he wanted to operate as soon as possible. I had to delay because of Joan's treatment. I am confident that he will get it repaired and then I will be as good as new!

Praying for you and Joan...I hate that you had to 'delay' the repair surgery..I can just imagine your pain...Sooo sorry for both of your sufferings,but through these sufferings, both of you give great testimonies of Christ...God Bless..
