Please pray

Postby januarie » 07 May 2010, 21:51

My son will go in for brain surgery next Wednesday and I would appreciate prayer for the success of the surgery. My husband and I have been ill and my husband has some kind of infection that is hanging on. And our water heater is leaking like a sieve. lol

You all know how things happen just before a big event. :beye

We are trusting God's plan for our lives. :tyl

Thank you for praying. :thaap

Father, I come to you asking that you give Lynda and her husband peace and strength during this time and bring heaing to him. Be with with the doctors and give them wisdom and knowledge in this operation to help Lyndas son to stop withthe tremors. Give Lynda great hope and bring to her mind the promises that you have made to your children and bless her. In the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen

Thank you so much for praying. At this point, my husband is very ill. He has some type of bacteria or parasite. He's on flagyl. A stool sample is being tested. We will still plan on the surgery for our son (a 200 mile trip each way) unless my husband ends up in the hospital himself. If that happens, I hope my son's case worker can take my son for his pre-surgical appointments (all day Tuesday) without us and schedule the surgery for another time.

I figure if my husband can make the trip, then he can spend most of the time in the motel room, resting, while I am at the hospital with my son. If we stay home, my husband would just try to go to work anyway (a very demanding, physical/mental job). He needs rest and lots of fluids and I am trying to make sure he gets them both.

God knows all about this and has a perfect plan. We trust Him and are learning not to fret.

Lynda, praying for all of your family; that your sons surgery will go well and heal his condition, that the Lord will heal your husband so that he can be there with you, and that He will give you strength and His comfort during all this. It's times like these that me must lean on the Lord - He will provide! May God bless you
