Paula White is returning to Without Walls in Tampa, but this time as senior pastor.

Let’s set aside the fact that women can’t be pastors from a scriptural perspective for just a moment (they disregard scripture in every other capacity anyway). Paula and Randy White announced their divorce (which is unbiblical as well) in 2007, and she left Without Walls, their 4,000 seater church in Tampa. Chasing her northern star, she struck out on her own and was quite a success. Randy, however, watched his mega-empire come crashing down, for, after Paula’s departure, Without Walls suffered, fighting financial trouble, and a drop-off of attendance. Therefore, it appears Paula was the real star of the show after all, and the show couldn’t go on without her. Randy now has health issues and needs to depart.

It has been revealed that Randy White is resigning as pastor from Without Walls because of health concerns and Paula is taking over. If the past is any indicator, this change in leadership won’t really change a thing. Paula and Randy White are two-birds-of-a-feather who teach false Word of Faith doctrine. Paula is the same Paula who said that Jesus was not the only begotten son of God. Paula is the same Paula who derided the apostle Paul as not being a good preacher. There will be no hope of spiritual nourishment whether Paula White or Randy White leads the church.

One question that hasn’t been answered yet is, will Paula be able to resurrect the ministry and draw warm bodies back into the church? I’m going to go out on a limb and say yes. I may be wrong, but Paula is charismatic, and has the ability to draw the biblically ignorant and undiscerning. I think Without Walls will grow now, but it won’t be because she’s teaching scriptural truth – it will be because she has the ability to tickle itching ears.
