I watched Our America with Lisa Ling last night. The entire hour was on faith healers here in America. It was an emotional yoyo for me. I vasilated between anger, compassion, tears and prayer. It's focus was Todd Bentley at the church of Morningstar Ministries. . .you know, good old Rick Joyner. Joyner has mentored Bentley back into God's good graces. . . sorta speak. I hardly know where to begin. Bentley was portrayed in a positive light as well as the Morningstar training classes. These classes train young people to be faith healers. Watching them, they looked much more like they were possessed. Ling said that Bentley's type of "healing ministry" is the fastest growing segment of Christianity in this country. How horribly sad for all these desprate, deceived people. Anyway, the service was demonic to the core. Bentley is a clever scam artist preying on the emotions of people desprate for healing. They showed a very small group of protestors who yelled "false teacher" and "step down and repent" but then they wern't given enough time to explain. No one would listen to them anyway cause they were too busy in their demonic realm. How sad for this country that we embrace someone like Todd Bentley. How very very sad. As you all know, I am pentecostal and enjoy the freedom in the Holy Spirit to worship in dance and song and raising my hands and even tongues. BUT, I will tell you that the spirit working in this pentecostal movement of today is the spirt of satan, not God. If this demon possessed pentecostal movement of today is truly the fastest growing segment of "Christianity", this country is in deep deep trouble.

Carmela, I couldn't agree with you more! Might I add. I watched this also. The reporter kept repeating that Todd Bentley preached the gospel. That in itself was a falsehood and lie. He may scatter some truth in his sermons here and there but the gospel he preaches is not biblical nor truth. He has done nothing more then make a mockery of God and the true healing power of Jesus in peoples lives. He is a con artist and is backed by con artist, such as Rick Joyner and some others.

Another thing they left out was that this was previously Heritage USA, Where Jim Baker Fell, It is also were many more ministries and faith healers have resided. I have been there after Jim Bakers fall in the late eighties and it is cursed. Everything about that place is cursed. I wondered how much money was forked out for a weekend stay at that hotel and where is all the money coming from that Todd can now live in luxury after the Lakeland Revival. What a scam! That Is my honest discernment and observation.

This man Todd Bentley is nothing more then a devils advocate and he is using him to cause confusion and imparting evil spirits among some of the gullible youth and people that are not truly rooted in the word. His folly will be made known again and he will fall. He needs to truly repent while he has time.

Wow, Don. . .this runs deep! Thanks for that link. I just wish that more Christians would stay on top of this garbage. On the show, Bentleys massive ego was unparrelled. He drives a souped up black truck with red flames . . . hummm, he must have felt at home in it, ya think???? Lisa Ling and he went to his home with his new wife and he had several lazyboy type chairs. He flopped into one, kicked back and continued the interview in a reclined position. He was like fat old pig with no manners whatsoever. He told how he listens to heavy metal music and hard rock. Gosh, how much does he have to do before people begin to wonder about his "Christianity"??????
