Christ First Forum

Well to make a long story not so long..

Basically Bible Bear and I have been posting at various forums since 2007. I at the time was very skeptical about this because I have never had any kind of experience with others on the net before then except with him.

Then since he explained basically what the forums were about I gave it a try with the Lords help of course.

Wow!!! What an experience that I have the Lord to thank for. He knew that practically my whole life I had hardly any friends (long story). But then with the pressing of a few keys I was astounded with all the friends I had made.

But now we all heard the expression of course that friends come and friends go..
It was forum after forum after forum.. You get to the point where you want to quit and say forget this.

But now all of a sudden you ask God why does this happen? Why are you putting us in these places if you don't want us to have friends and be able to post so much about your Word and truth?
Believe me God has the plan and you just need to wait to find out where he leads to you.

Well God has done it again and it was just a matter of waiting. The amazing Love that God provides is so overwhelming that I can't or maybe others can't even describe.

All we really wanted was a place to call "HOME" away from "Home" if you know what i mean.

When God led us here and with the responses and all the conversations we have had since joining I can't begin to tell you how happy I amto be part of such a wonderful board.

I guess if you want me to talk about inspiration I can tell you simply this..
Never give up when you ask something of the Lord..if you are to be provided with what you ask for God will do it believe me.

Here's a poem I wrote that I would like to share with you all here.

Friends are a Blessing

Friends are a blessing this I say
I thank God for them
each and everyday

Some are there when you need them
there's some that are not
But I even pray for those I forgot

What would a person do with no friend
Just pray to God and hope at least 1
that he would send

But isn't amazing to know
you had a friend all the time
That it's Jesus with no reason or rhyme

Whenever you need him
he's there where you are
He's really close and never too far

So whenever you need a friend
Jesus he's there for you
Until the very end

Thank you for that post - it's very inspiring. I, too, know where you're coming from. We're glad you're here to join us as we go about the Lord's business, spreading His Word, and building each other up in the Lord. God is good - I can't add much to tht.lol

It confirms what I had hoped for and longed for with this forum. Let me say it is people like you and the others that make this forum what it is with God's drawing. It has been worth every long hour that I have put in design and planning to make up this forum and to use it for God's glory.
