My sister-in-law

Postby Carmela » 20 Apr 2011, 19:07

My sister-in-law, Caroline, is battling cancer. She's only 45 and her only hope is a stem cell transplant. She has been going through the usual chemo etc. One of her brothers is a 100 per cent match for stem cells so he's going to be the doner. It's quite an ordeal and my poor mother-in-law who is 73 is having to drive Caroline back and forth to Boston on a constant basis. They live in Maine so it's about a 3-4 hour drive. Caroline has gotten saved through all this so that's a blessing, but she's in real danger of not making it. Please add her to your prayers if the Holy Spirit leads you. Caroline's youngest daughter has just gotten out of detox so this family has a lot of issues and needs Jesus. My mother-in-law is saved and I know her heart aches for her kids. . .out of 4 boys, two are homosexual and riddled with physical problems, one is a womanizer and one is normal. Her only daughter is Caroline and she may lose her. Only God keeps her going. She's one of those Christians who will walk right up to a stranger and say, "Do you know Jesus?" Gotta love her :)

I'm so sorry to hear about this trouble, Carmela. I'll be keeping them all (and you) in prayers.

Father, I come asking that you bring healing to Caroline. I also ask that you let this bone marrow transplant work. Give this family the help they need to deal with all their issues. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen!

Carmela, What type of cancer does she have?

Father, I am raising up this sister and her family to your hands, reach down, take them and hold them in your arms, covering them with your love and peace that only You can give.
