My husband, Joe

Postby Carmela » 02 Nov 2011, 10:27

My husband died this morning from congestive heart failure. We have been separated for 7 years, but we remained close. I spoke with him just yesterday and I know that his heart was right with the Lord. His sister, Caroline, is being taken off of life support today. She won her battle with cancer but picked up a lung infection that the doctors could not cure. My poor mother-in-law will lose two children in the same day. Please pray for her. ..she's a Christian but this is a very heavy burden. Her name is Iszzy.

Carmela, I am so sorry to hear about Joe and you have mine and Joan's deepest sympathy and love.

Father, I come to you asking for comfort and peace for Carmela and Joe's family. Encourage them with your word and with your people. In Jesus Name, Amen!

I just spoke with my mother-in-law and she said that she cannot understand why she feels so strong and peaceful with 2 children dying within hours of each other. Then she said, "Oh, I know! It's all the prayers!" And then she laughed. She's doing very well. We are both at peace that Joe and Caroline are now with their Jesus :) Thank you for your prayers :)
