My Beloved Mother Bernice

My Beloved Mother Bernice

Today my mother would have been 83 years old.

Colon cancer claimed her life -
Jesus carried her home on 03 July, 2008.
My three children, my husband and I were blessed to be there when He carried her home.
I will be off-line most of the day, but wanted to post a memorial tribute to her here today.

In honor and in memory of my beloved mother 'Bernice' -

and tell them you love them. It will mean so much...

You are truly blessed to have had a mother so greatly loved :) And she was blessed to have been loved so much by her family.

She was a beautiful lady, and I can see how you have been blessed.

Praise the Lord for my blessings in abundance!

My mother named me 'Joye' because she tried to conceive for 13 and a half years, then there was me!
She was the second oldest woman in the hospital at that time to give birth to her first child, me!

She wasn't a tall women in statue (5 foot 3 at the most) but tall in spirit and in love.
She loved God and knew God, there is no doubt whatsoever that she wasn't carried home in the loving arms of God.
She rests now awaiting the day when she will enter the gates of heaven - and I will see her again.

Thank you Lord for blessing me with such a beautiful, caring and loving mother.
Thank you Lord for allowing my children and I to be there holding her hands when
