Pastor Nancy Petty, the lesbian spiritual leader at Pullen Memorial Baptist church in Raleigh, N.C., has a message for her state: Legalize same-sex marriage — or else. Until gay unions are legislatively permitted, Petty plans to no longer sign marriage licenses — an action that will potentially have a profound impact on her congregation.

At the end of July, Petty told her church body that until the state begins allowing gay couples to wed, she is uncomfortable performing nuptials. Apparently, she has asked church deacons to allow permission to be relieved of this duty until the matter is settled (i.e. until the state enables same-sex marriage). Though she claims that she’s enjoyed presiding over weddings, she says:


“every time I sign a marriage license for a heterosexual couple and act as an agent of the state, I am reminded of those couples who I marry that are denied the basic human right to legally marry the person of their choice.”. . . . more

First of all, what kind of Church is this supposed to be another Church like Westboro claiming to be Baptist? When a Church has elected such an official they are considered a false teaching Church. And a false teaching church is not a Church of God. There are members in the Church that could remove this pastor from serving. Apparently they must share some of her views. I learned this from my friend Joe when he went to apply to be a minister at a certain Church. How important it is to please the panel of members that would hire a pastor most suitable for what they are looking for. Joe did not get hired over money issues The Church had nothing to do with what Joe could teach or believe.

As for married people or I mean for those who want to get married. Don’t get married by such a woman like this even if she allowed this. First of all the 2 people are to be joined by God. And it is proper to try to get married by a Godly pastor. If your marriage is important you would want to get married by someone you can trust. I guess at times people are not going to know the representative who is getting them married. But definitely if you know this person is gay, don’t walk down that aisle. It would be a shame for God to see the openly Gay doing such a duty especially one like her who is in total support of Gay marriage.
Those who are pro Gay like this woman are the perverted Teachers of the Word of God. They have twisted up God’s word to align it do agree with their own sexual preferences. Such a person has rejected the Holy Spirit of God who reveals the truth of the Word of God. The Holy Spirit agrees absolute with God’s Word. Same sex is sin in God’s eyes. A woman like this can say that God allows this but truly to God this will be the wrong way to believe and teach. This person is carrying and giving out one very large bag of Yeast.

Why on earth would a man and woman go to a lesbian to get married? Why would they even go to such a perverted church? There's something seriously wrong with a church that would hire a lesbian or homosexual guy for any position--especially that of pastor. I seriously doubt that God would recognize her as being qualified to be a pastor--let alone perform marriages.
