Please give your thoughts to : Learning to Be a Servant of God because I need your participation.

Many scripture passages describe Jesus as God's Servant. He came as a servant to accomplish God's will in the redemption of humanity. Here's what Paul said about Him in Pil. 2: 5-8

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,

but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

In John 20:21 So Jesus said to them again, Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.

In Matthew 20:26-28 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.

And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave--

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
