Laying Laminate Wood Flooring

Postby Jeani » 16 Jan 2012, 00:50

In the last two weeks, my son and I have laid two bedroom's floors...

Tomorrow we will tackle our last room...

We've never had any experience, but I 'researched' the idea before we started, and my son (who lost his job) is practically good at anything...

Sore back, and tired, and well be sooo thankful to finish.

He's going to help another man on his rent house after my job,but he needs a good job...

He's just staying busy until, and he'll move out of my house when this man's rent house is finish.

He's going to let my son have one free month's rent by helping him,and hopefully, my son can land a job very soon...

Just thought I would share...

I will be praying for your son Jeani. Is this the type of work he would like to go into? I'm glad he has a rent free place for a month. What a blessing. :-)

That's hard work! I have done a few floors in my life time and recently in 2006 my kitchen and two bathrooms. It sounds like your son is pro active in finding work and doing whatever he can. God will surly honor that!

Yes, especially at my age, with the stooping, bending, moving furniture, and being on my knees...

Thank you sooo much for praying for him...

He's a license electrician,but can do anything...

Unfortuntely, our unions are allowing 'illegals' to perform the electicial jobs without license now...so there is less jobs, and sooo many 'out of the state' have move to Texas for the jobs...900 people on the list for jobs before him...He decided to leave the union anyway because who can be proud of unions today? No one..

Thank you...and I love you all....
