Komen drops plan to cut Planned Parenthood grants

NEW YORK (AP) — After three days of controversy, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast-cancer charity says it is reversing its decision to cut breast-screening grants to Planned Parenthood.

"We want to apologize to the American public for recent decisions that cast doubt upon our commitment to our mission of saving women's lives," a Komen statement said.

As first reported by The Associated Press on Tuesday, Komen had adopted criteria excluding Planned Parenthood from grants because it was under government investigation, notably a probe launched in Congress at the urging of anti-abortion groups.

Komen said Friday it would change the criteria so it wouldn't apply to such investigations.
"We will continue to fund existing grants, including those of Planned Parenthood, and preserve their eligibility to apply for future grants," the statement said.

This lady should disqualify herself from fighting breast cancer..because towillingly support a group ('s) that promote abortion (murdering babies for the business of blood money ) are causing the increase of breast cancer in women and young girl's .. abortion raises the risk of breat cancer and since the abortion's ( herod's decree to murder babies ) have been legal breast cancer has risen greatly..Doctor's and Scentist have given report' of this fact...
Komen fighting breast cancer and funding the enemy..is like proclaiming to be Pro-Life and supporting (funding) Pro-Death which is also what she is doing ..one who fights for life against death(by cancer)and support /fund the cause of that death .... I don't get it..if I was fighting to put out a fire that was burning up homes taking the lives of people I wouldn't volunteerly go around throwing gasoline on homes ...

plannedparent (murder)hood pushing sex in education and then tell them its safe when you take the morning after ( abortion pills ) or our other cancer (cervical and ovarian ) causing contracptives .. Plannedparenthood created a problem just to make a money making solution..which is no solution at all it takes the life of babies and those who are talked into letting anti-life doc's murder their babies...
plannedparenthood tell's young women (or older ) "yep you are pregnant,what do you want to do about*it*... when as human being's PPH should say you are with *CHILD* you have two choice's,one to be accountable and so should the father of your *baby child*,or you can ask your parent's for their help in raising your *child*, I wil add one more choice,you can if no other help let a childless family or those with children who can love and give care you can't adopt your *child*... Young women(and older) are with *Child* Bibical term God used and He is the Creator of life ..when a planned parenthood uses the word pragnant its made to sound like ,imply this "you could be pragnant with anything ..... but not a Baby,your of flesh and blood,your "Child" ,that is to say a human being either a baby boy or baby girl,but your with an *it* .......... not a "child" that God allowed the conception to happen.... Then while making an expression as though to care say "so now do you want to keep an *it* knda like having a cancer inside you that will grow and make you look fat and ruin your looks and ruin your worldly dreams" and then smiling saying " or do you want to have *it* removed "
