Jesus Paid It All
Jesus Paid It All
I hear the Savior say
Thy strength indeed is small
Child of weakness....watch and pray
Find in me....thine all in all
Chorus:
Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin hath left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone
Can change the leper's spots
And melt the heart of stone
For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim
I'll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calvary's Lamb
And when before thy throne
I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat
Jesus Paid It All - Scriptures that may have inspired this hymn
“‘Come now, let us reason together,’ says the LORD. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool’” (Isaiah 1:18).
“He must become greater; I must become less” (John 3:30).
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him” (John 3:16-17).
Wow what a powerful song, and scripture!
With all of the emphasis on what is happening in the world around us, we need to
ensure that we do not loose sight of what God calls us to do. What is our job as
a Christian? Our job is to go. The word Apostle says it all...Apo means away
from, and stolos means to send.
Mark 3:14 (New King James Version)
14 Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,
Notice the two word in bold, with Him. "With Him" only long enough to train , infect them with His life, vision, and strategy, and send them as far away from their training base as they could, would and might go.
Jesus fully expects every saved person to be dominated by this vision of being globally minded to every person.
Now more than ever, we must focus on sharing God with everyone we see and come in contact with. I believe that if we are living our best for Him, He will empower us to do our task.
One last thing...We must have a vision...
Colossians 1:9 (New King James Version)
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Do we see things from God's point of view?
Is what on our heart what God has on His?
Where there is no vision, the people perish, and when we say that people perish, we have reached God's heartbreak!
So are you an Apostle?
