My son did not make the list.
It came down to numbers he was told.
Jamie is not giving up, he feels this is his calling and he is going to continue to pursue it!
In fact, he has a CPAT scheduled for this Wednesday with another County. Please pray he passes the CPAT on Wednesday.
He has been ill and is still under par.
Please keep him in prayer... and thank you all.

I need a little prayer said for myself ... while talking with my Aunt Janet on the telephone yesterday I had something happen to my right eye.
Either a spider bite or flea from my cat or dog (not sure, they are both medicated for fleas)?
But my eye started to itch and swell... it's not pink eye, it was not mattered shut this morn or gunky... but is still swollen and bothersome.
I look like I took a blow to the eye, not a pretty sight ...
Please pray for the swelling to go down.

Guess I stressed myself out pretty good... I have a subconjunctival hemorrhage (a blood vessel that pops from pressure).
Which doesn't hurt, but looks pretty nasty.

Praise God, He has answered prayer!
My son received a call followed up by a confirmation email.
He will be be receiving a welcome letter in the general mail from the Fire Chief, which will include his start date, salary and orientation information.
My son will start 31 January, 2011!
