“How to keep on the case"

Postby Bible Bear » 12 Mar 2010, 18:24

Let us suppose for example a person needs to get their car fixed. They know how to do work from the study they have done in car books. They find this neat tool. And all of sudden want to look for more tools. Eventually all they want to know is about these tools. The Car is not being fixed. That is what you need to do. Forget about these other tools now.

Many times in our studies we can make this same error. We can be studying on the main theme of the scriptures keep doing more research and eventually get off track. This is all extra stuff you can know and now know. But this is not what God was teaching us. The Bible is God's Guide to teach us how to live and it is about God himself and many other things. Some people get stuck in a certain sections or one section aspect of The Bible. No longer are these people talking about Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior but all other things in facts and in details things that will not save anyone at all by knowing these things. These facts can help us. But we have gone off the epicenter of sharing others of The Gospel of Jesus Christ the Lord. It is most important more than just knowing is saving in The Eyes of God. For example one can not just say I believe Jesus once Lived. He was a good guy. He did for everyone. That was nice..
Well I even know He died during the Roman Empire on the cross and we can share you all the history that is behind this. But wait, hold on here. We have shared the facts but what about Jesus himself. The reason He died.

These facts are good. But they will not save. We need to teach Jesus is the way of Salvation. We can add facts with this. But without trying to make new believers these facts won't mean anything at all if they are not saved.

Our Goal should be the same as Jesus. That soul and our soul in likewise need to be saved through the Lord Jesus. Whatever method is moral and is within the Truth of God then use it. It is your gift to share with others in real life just like here. I do this in real life. I also got some neat Bible tracts. If anyone wants some samples ask me. These ones are great. The best I have seen in my opinion. These are done in Kings James. And the word speaks for itself. No one can argue. I surely can not with these tracts. And remember they scolded Jesus whom sat with the sinners and Jesus told them. They who are Healthy don't need a doctor. But they who are sick do need a Doctor. I have not come for the righteous but they who are not of them and to reach them.

Jesus is our Great physician. He is the same today as He was yesterday. He The Lord never changes. Just as the day Jesus walked This Earth just as today The Lord wants to Save souls above all things because He is A God of Love not just of Truth and facts.

Bible Bear,

I've been through sooo many 'witness trainings',and the Roman Road, to me, is the best....

The Holy Spirit is the teacher, and God will lay upon our heart and mind, what He would have us to share with the unbelieving world....

The Church purpose is to 'witness' and 'disciple.'

Have a good day, Bible Bear....

I love all of God's Word...and every doctrine...and every detail is important!!!

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Alright there is a little misunderstanding about this. This sermon is not about reading other verses in The Bible in a cohesive manner to say. This is more about dealing with The Bible and The context of losing its meaning and focus.

Jesus says for example let your yes mean yes and your No mean no. Now we can go study what the root word yes is the root word no. Now we can go to the root word oath. Maybe you are leaning more in this passage. But actually what is being told to us. We don't need to promise just say yes or no. If you want to look into other things of this passage that is ok. But what I am saying is many others will dig up more facts in the scriptures that does not pertain the meaning of it. It may be helpful to us but we got so involved in all these roots and translations we now have forgotten that yes is yes and no is no. Even if you don't understand the Greek roots of yes and no just understand what The Lord is saying. Studying all other things may help. And in these kind of situations people can get sidetracked. Forget the meaning of the scripture of what Jesus is teaching let me learn all the other stuff. We are then off track. Stick with the meaning first info on this is secondary hand knowledge but not what The Lord is teaching us.
