How Do We Know His Occupation

Postby Bible Bear » 10 Sep 2010, 18:47

I see in the Bible they scoffed at Jesus in his hometown not believing him saying But you the son of the carpenter.

And I've seen people with stickers on their cars saying my boss is a carpenter. Is their an actual scripture in the Bible that says that Jesus was a carpenter or any historical facts that he was?

I don't want to assume that he was because his father was because he also had brothers that could have been doing that work while Jesus was doing another kind of work.

What's your say on this? :umm :gues

Mark 6:3) . . .This is the carpenter the son of Mary and the brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon, is it not? And his sisters are here with us, are they not?” So they began to stumble at him. . .

In those days the son took up the practice of the father and his business also.
