Hi Joye,

I preach and quote mostly from the NKJV Open Bible.
I still quote often the KJV and all my cross references and studies go back to the KJV. I use the Strongs, Hebrew, Greek concordance from the KJV. I also use the NIV Life application bible for topical studies.

I have many bibles, The living, The American Standard, The Revised Standard. The Schofield KJV Study Bible and many more such as the Living Bible, which I never use or study from. It, to me is one of the worst. Next to the New World Translation of JW.

I personally believe that if one is to be a serious student of God's word, then they have to begin with the KJV bible. I also am a firm believer that the word, never changes and all of us who are in Christ Jesus will eventually see it as the Holy Spirit teaches it according to 1 Corinthians 2:10-16
