Have a Great 4th and Independance Day Celebration

Postby Remnant » 03 Jul 2009, 20:38

Jesus and the
4th of July

We gather ‘round to celebrate

On Independence Day

Pay homage to our country

As the children run and play.

With barbeques and picnics

And fireworks in the air

The flag we own is proudly flown

To show how much we care.

The stars and stripes spell freedom

She waves upon the breeze

While bursts of colors can be seen

Above the towering trees.

This is all quite wonderful

We revel in delight

But God above in divine love

Has brought this day to light.

With just a stroke of liberty

A touch of His great hand

He gave democracy to us

And helped this country stand.

The stripes upon our stately flag

Were touched by His sweet grace

Each star of white that shines so bright

Reflects His loving face.

So as you turn to face the flag

For battles that were fought

Be filled with pride for those who died

And freedoms that were bought.

But don’t forget to thank the One

That gives the bright display

The reason why we paint the sky

On Independence Day

Even though my husband had to go to work all day on the 4th, I had a good July 4th at my 'tea party.'

I went to a different place this time being our county had one.

Our county is 'Democratic' only, and it was funny to see all of the 'older generation' very upset with our government at the 'tea party.

I know in my heart most of these people voted for Obama, but they are not happy now.

Sadly, I share with my SS Class, and no one from my church came.

There was very few from my small town that even came.

We had a man from another county that gave a speech where he went from 'door to door' ,and people would tell him that 'they do not want to get involve.'

I don't see my generation or my children's generation attending these 'tea parties',but the 'older generations' understands what it would be like to 'lose' our freedoms; yet, they voted for Obama!

Confusing isn't it?

We had Texas politicans talk, lawyer, a preacher from some 'liberal religion', a 80 year old woman that's been involved in 'illegal immigration.'

Her speech was soo interesting, and she told us it's costing Texas 'one billion' a year for illegals.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio will be in the NORRIS CONFERENCE CENTER AT CITYCENTER at 803 Town & Country Blvd in Houston, Tx. on 9/12/09 at 10:00 am to talk about 'Texans for Immigration Reform.' It's $30.00 with reservations required. This is a fundraiser, and anyone wanting to give to the fund you can at:

TFIR-PO Box 771014
Houston, Tx. 77215
Telephone 713-612-2617

Louisa Whitefield, the 8o year lady, has fought 7 years against illegal immigration, and there's soo much we don't hear as a nation as to what is happening

Scary is my thought~

When the CO2 tax happens, allot of our industries will be close down, and who will be paying these taxes for the illegals?

Us,and I don't think there's enough of 'us!'

We will end up like California with Obama controlling us~

Scary thought~

If you haven't attended a 'tea party' yet, I encourage you to do so while we still have the 'freedom' to do so~

Our freedom is coming to an end,but we have 'peace' knowing prophecy is being fulfill with the Lord coming for His Bride~

Thanks for the update on another Tea Party Jeani. I'm not sure why they haven't caught on here (3 yesterday in Nebraska). Maybe it's because we have the lowest unemployment rate in the country and our state is financially in the black. None of that should matter because it's a nationwide issue, but people get complacent.
