Grace, that's a big word! What does it mean to you?

The precedent of forgiveness.
Coincidence is when G-d decides to remain anonymous.

Be not a follower of man,but of the everlasting Lord.

That's the best way of describing "grace" that I have ever heard, Frank!

Thank you! I heard that many years ago and it has stuck with me all these years. Use it often!

My SS teacher is always telling us it's 'unmerit favor' ,but to me, it's 'unconditional love' from the Father to us~

For by grace (unconditional love) you have been saved--through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.

not of works, lest anyone should boast~ Ephesians 2:8-9

Those are all good.

My daughter always reminds me of when I taught her about grace when she was quite young.

She had done something naughty, I can't even remember what it was now.
But I'd called her aside, "Charity, instead of giving you the spanking you deserve, I'm going to give you grace. I love you so much and I'm taking mercy on you." She was quite surprised, but it was the perfect chance to share what the Lord had done for us. Mercy is what grace offers.

Grace is mercy and love super added. :gig
