Please be careful about using these sites, make sure they are accurate. Know who runs it. I live in a very small town. There were 16 hits in my neighborhood. Not one of them exists here, in police blotters, or court records. The felonspy, however, did not list actual known and convicted sexual predators. Most states have their own database for these dirtbags and it is public information.

Jan, Im glad you brought that to my attention!! I was so shocked because in reality...I actually do have quite a few sexual predators around me..that it just slipped my mind to check it out. I dont think they are legit. I dont really like snopes but here is what they have to say about it.....

I should have checked snopes myself when I saw that I had 4 criminals up a dirt road next to me where there's only 5 homes and I know all of them. People have way too much time on their hands.

I just checked that felonspy link again and now I have 1 person on that dirt road and it's not the same name as before. I had 4 before. What a bunch of hooey!! My sister who has been here forever said there was no one by the names mentioned in the places the site said they were. A legit site is watchdog.com.

I 'burnt' my cookies looking at this site.

Didn't mean to, but when I saw all of the markers, I couldn't believe it.

I will check out 'watchdog.com.'
