I was just courious to how many of you check the View New Post when you first come on CFF.

I want to make sure every one is aware of this function!

Please respond to this question! It will better help me to understand the opperation of the forum and to better serve the memberes who or of this forum.

No, I don't. I've seen it there but I usually just scan down and check dates to see if a new post has been done. Sorta cruise the topics.

Yes I, do...p-lease do not get rid of it. It is so much easier keeping up with what happens when I'm not on line for long periods of time.

Just to let you all know, we are moving and that is why I have not been on much...hope to be back regularly soon.

I wish everyone would use it the way you do Wayne. I think a lot of good post are missed if they don't check the view new post. I Just wanted to see how many did and was aware of it's function.

Carmela, Thanks sister! I just wanted to make sure that this option was used because of it being so benificial when one is away from the forum a few days.

I try to at least read or scan every post by using this feature and respond to the ones I feel led to do so.

I had to be honest and vote no, only because I never even think about it. I like the feature and will try and make use of it. Since I've been so sporadic about being here, I just look at the dates and go from there.

Mine is set to where it automatically comes up on the new post page. It is so much quicker to see what is going on.

Believe it or not ..Fromthe day i joined here I am going into each room a little at a time and literally reading all posts that were done in each section.
I answer if I can to both the ldest and newest things. I don't even see this button. Is it here still here?

I normally check the "view active posts" before I sign on.

I feel some may be offended if I sign on and begin to read and post...so I try to keep and eye on the shoutbox and read and post at the same time.

But most of my reading is done offline...before I sign in.

Forgive me if I don't answer in the shoutbox immediately...and sometimes my kids come in and we are talking...sometimes I'm totally out of the room LOL.
