Journey Church plans Tailgate Baptism in June

HUNTERSVILLE – Journey Church, 5711 Brookway Drive, will hold a Tailgate Baptism & More summer celebration June 25, a Saturday, from 3:30 to 10 p.m.
Church leaders plan to set up a pool on the church grounds and are inviting any who wants to take part in the summer baptism. Before the evening service, the church will have a tailgate party. People should bring their own food and grill out, but the church will have provide inflatables, games for kids and adults and music.
Tickets to the party go on sale Sunday, May 22, and cost $5 for adults and $3 for kids, with a $15 cap for families. Anyone interested in getting baptized should look at the church’s website, www.thejourneyonline.com, or email dash@thejourneyonline.com.

Wow now that might be a great way to send someone off in a funeral situation. All proceeds go towards funeral costs. Now thats the ticket.
