Christmas in a small town.

Postby janlyn » 21 Dec 2011, 06:44

Last night the local high school students gave their annual Holiday Notes concert. We are blessed to live in a town where Christmas Carols are still sung at school programs. But when my 17 year old grandson was finished a solo performance of Christmas Shoes, it was obvious where his heart was.

Praise the Lord.

Thanks Frank. I can feel secularism sneaking it's ugly head into this town but it hasn't taken over yet. Too many people watch too much TV, and playing too many virtual games, without paying attention to the way it's corrupting their thoughts. Too many people are not searching for the truth. They're just believing what's being fed to them.

Then I look at my youngest grandson and I see a rebel for Jesus. Praise God. That boy will be the standard bearer for his family.

That's so awesome Lynda :))) I'm happy that my three grandkids are on fire for the Lord as well.
