A solemn call to praise and serve the Lord

Postby Jean owens » 29 Mar 2010, 03:53

:tyl Our heavenly Father finds pleasure in our expression of thanks to Him. It’s His will that we tell Him
Thank You
Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus The writer of Hebrews took it a step further by saying, “Let us be thankful, and so worship God”

Keep looking for ways to improve your relationship with God. Don’t forget what may be the most basic way to worship and honor Him: Tell Him Thanks

Then let us adore and give Him His right
All glory and power, all wisdom and might
All honor and blessing, with angels above
And thanks never ceasing for infinite love.

The worship most acceptable to God comes from a thankful heart.

Psalm 105:1,5
1 O give thanks unto the LORD call upon his name make known his deeds among the people.

2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him talk ye of all his wondrous works.

3 Glory ye in his holy name let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4 Seek the LORD, and his strength seek his face evermore.

5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised......amen

AMEN MY BRO. SISTERS my granny when she died i was given her bible and all her books this is one of the hymns
Grannys hymn book these words

Jesus and shall it ever be
A mortal man ashamed of Thee
Ashamed of Thee whom angels praise
Whose glories shine through endless days

Ashamed of Jesus sooner far
Let night disown each radiant star
Tis midnight with my soul till He
Bright Morning Star bid darkness flee.

Ashamed of Jesus O as soon
Let morning blush to own the sun
He sheds the beams of light divine
Over this benighted soul of mine

Ashamed of Jesus that dear Friend
On Whom my hopes of Heaven depend
No when I blush be this my shame
That I no more revere His Name.

Ashamed of Jesus yes I may
When I've no guilt to wash away
No tear to wipe no good to crave
No fears to quell no soul to save

Ashamed of Jesus!! empty pride
I'll boast a Savior crucified
And O may this my portion be
My Savior not ashamed of me

love ya'll

PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME AMEN
