“A bump on the Head can slow things down”

Postby Bible Bear » 16 Aug 2011, 21:13

Hi all. I got this bump on the side of my head by my ear because there is some tissue in my eyes that is pushing on some nerves.

The Bump has been blocking the part on my head where I connect my cochlear magnetic hookup. Until the swelling of the bump goes down I won’t be starting up that many posts.

Mostly I try to answer a couple here and there. What Anna can sign is the gist of the post to me. She needs to use tactile sign. This kind of sign is different than regular deaf sign language. Tactile is usually much slower than ASL or pigeon sign language. So if it seems I am posting slow or have not started up anything new that is the reason why.

Even when my hearing is well I can’t as fast as Anna. She needs to set me up a word document. She will read me what she can. Then I will type in word document. Next she has to correct my spelling errors than put my stuff in. Sometimes it takes a long time just to put in 4 to five posts. But it is easier for me to post if there are some already started posts to work off of. When my bump goes down I can find some new stories online. Anna is tactiling sign to me a lot already what she has to read online.
